Lifestyle What to Do to Stay Healthy during COVID-19

COVID-19

The COVID-19 Virus is legit the hysteria and panic on the part of the media is for views and clicks, but being that it spreads with asymptomatic people through breathing, means it’ll likely be doubling or compounding for the next few months, if not longer.

So, what can you do to fend off the COVID-19 virus and any virus?

Have the strongest immune system you can possibly have, and demand that those you care about do the same.

Step 1: Don’t Hurt it

You hurt your immune system in a few ways.

First, by not sleeping enough or at a good enough quality. So, please, get 8 hours. That means to set a sleep schedule, turn off all devices an hour before bed (no screens), make your room around (65F) and keep your room dark.

Second, keep booze and smoking to a minimum, or cut it out completely. Smoking and obesity are two of the worst things you can do to your immune system and yes, being obese are doing something horrible to yourself.

Step 2: Help It

Stay active and get a lot of fresh air. Keep training. Get your diet dialed in stay away from ‘crap food’, like fast food, chips, etc.

Get your vitamins.

Vitamin C is one of the biggest immune system boosters of all. In fact, a lack of vitamin C can even make you more prone to getting sick.

Vitamin B6 is vital to supporting biochemical reactions in the immune system.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps the body fight off infection.

The vitamins I am taking:

  • Emerge C with immune +
  • Echinacea with goldenseal
  • Elderberry
  • Multivitamin

Staying hydrated can boost your immune health try eating more hydrating foods, such as cucumbers, celery, strawberries cauliflower, zucchini, iceberg lettuce in watermelon.
