I Don't Feel Guilty about Yesterday

Well, happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend. I sure did.

I know the weekend is usually the time where people wind down, relax, don’t do anything, don’t even focus on their eating habits. That’s natural and it’s ok, so don’t worry about that.

Look at me, let start with my morning. I got up, made some pancakes, tater tots and bacon for me and the family. As you can imagine, it was delicious. Did I feel bad about it? Nope! Oh, and also I had missed 2 workouts the week before, so I was behind on that. I felt bad about that.

So after grubbing on the bomb food I made, we headed to the movies for toy story 4 with the kids. We got home, laid in bed for mostly all day (that’s usually how our Sundays look), then we headed to a family members house for some dinner.

We had carne asada tacos, rice, and beans, bundt cakes, dutch bros coffee; oh man it was the best! I was stuffed! Did I feel bad? Not really.

So we get home and wife is like, “I need to work out”, she had missed 2 workouts as well from the previous week, so she did 2 workouts! I was like “dam well now I can’t bitch out, I gotta suck it up and do my workouts as well”.

The point of this post is just to remind you guys, don’t stress over missing workouts or eating a crapload of food.

If you really have the desire to change, there are going to be moments where you “fall off the wagon”. That’s just the way it is, maybe not for everyone but for the most.

Just make sure you don’t stay in that trend. Bounce back and get back to it the next day. Drink more water, eat smaller portion sizes on your meals, get back on your workouts and remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Hope you have an amazing week!
