Nutrition Hey Fit Fam… It is Tasty Tuesday!!

It’s tasty Tuesday and my favorite fruit snack is:
Blueberries, Strawberries & walnuts all mixed together with a touch of honey if you have a sweet tooth.

My favorite fruit meal:

Quinoa Cereal! Which I love hot or cold.

What are your favorite fruit snack & meal?

Cooking the Quinoa

– 1ST- ALWAYS RINSE QUINOA THOROUGHLY
– 2 cups quinoa.
– 4 cups of water or alternative milk.
– Pour into pot and bring to a boil.
– Once boiling turn heat DOWN to simmer and cover for 15 to 18 minutes. – Take off heat let sit for 15 minutes.
– Fluff with fork.

In the bowl

2/3 – 1 cup Quinoa
FRUITS CAN BE INTERCHANGED i.e. black berries, mellon, orange, mango, apple, kiwi, etc. 2-5 strawberries
5-10 blueberries
1/2 banana
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup or personal preference of milk choice
dollop of honey or 100% maple syrup if you need it for over all likability of the dish.
and last but not least a dollop of nut butter. ADD AN EXTRA DOLLOP IF DOING IT HOT
