About Alex

My name is Alex Barrie; Sports Massage Therapist, Emmett Therapy Advanced Practitioner, Emmett For Dogs Practitioner, Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Instructor. I moved to the in the fitness industry to create a company that would help individuals positively adapt their lives.

Unfortunately, shortly after getting my first job as a gym instructor, I suffered terrible hip and back pain and restriction which prohibited proper training for a good 6 months. However, using a combination of Corrective Exercise Techniques, Emmett Therapy and other treatments I overcame the issue and am pain-free to this day.

I use the same methodology that helped me to permanently overcome my restrictive pain to help those who approach me for advice. There is no big secret. By identifying the cause of pain and restriction and Treating it, Correcting any postural imbalances that may aggravate said cause and then Training the body to become stronger, I have found people can be helped to overcome conditions which prohibit enjoying life to the full.
