For as long as I can remember, I've always been passionate about health and fitness. I played rugby from grade 8 up until my second year of university and I was a competitive short track speed skater for 4 years. It wasn't until my first year of university that I fell in love with the gym.
I started out at the gym a complete beginner so I know what it feels like to be intimidated by the atmosphere, unsure if my form is correct or unsure if my workouts are beneficial to my goals at all. That's why I am passionate about what I do. I want to help others feel more confident, empowered and educated about how to properly workout so their time is being put to good use!
We live in a society where our lifestyles are more sedentary than ever, mental health is at an all time low and media makes us feel inadequate so that we will buy products to make us feel better about our lives and ourselves. We've come so far from internal happiness.
My goal is to reignite your spark and joy in life. Many of us neglect the one thing that can bring us true happiness: the relationship we have with ourselves. By creating a healthy mind and body, we can eliminate most of the problems we encounter in our day to day lives.
I never started working out because of how I looked. I continued to workout because of how I felt. I want you to feel the same. I want you to get up in the morning excited about your day, excited to talk to your coworkers, excited to try that new hobby and excited to live your life to the fullest again!
All it takes is one step. That's how we climb the mountain. And it's never too late to start.
