    Free 2-Week Trial Program This two-week program is a great introduction to strength training, combining unilateral and compound movements to build strength, stability, and confidence. You’ll experience efficient workouts using supersets and trisets, with a structure that's accessible for all fitness levels. The trial also gives you a preview of how our training app works—letting you follow guided workouts, track progress, and explore the tools we use to deliver results.   • 3-Day Full Body, DB/Bench Only (30-Min)

    Here is a full body workout plan for the beginner who has access to just dumbbells and a bench. We've included exercises that can be done by almost anybody. You will also get the chance to decide just how hard you want to push by selecting your own weights. Most workouts take around 30-minutes to complete. In weeks 5-8, we slightly up the intensity and add a little bit more work.

About Derek

I'm Derek Brackett, M.S., a Sports Performance professional with a wealth of experience in coaching and exercise physiology and founder of First Team Sports Performance. I received my graduate degree in Exercise Physiology/Strength & Conditioning from the University of Miami (FL), where I worked as a graduate assistant in the university's athletic department. This hands-on experience allowed me to learn from industry professionals and apply my knowledge in practice, working with athletes from a range of sports, including football, basketball, swimming and diving, rowing, and soccer.

Currently, I operate out of Miami, FL, and specialize in creating individualized training regimens and return-to-play protocols that are tailored to meet the specific demands and goals of each athlete. With a focus on delivering results, I have worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes from a wide range of sports, including the NBA, NFL, MLB, and Olympic track and field. I also serve executive clients with goals of rehabilitating from injuries, changing their body composition, and improving their overall quality of life by making daily activities easier.

As a USAW certified coach, I am committed to continuing education and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and research in the field.
