This 90 Day "The Work's" Program is geared to educate, set you up for success, and gives you "The Work's" when it comes to dropping body fat or building muscle. About Coach Josh
My name is Josh Smith, I live in Kitsilano, Vancouver, BC, Canada, and I am your new online Personal Trainer/ Nutrition Coach!
I started my fitness journey because I was not happy with how I physically looked in the mirror, no confidence. I had tiny arms, a fat core, no butt, and no muscle in my legs. I started out by creating the habit of going to the gym for 21 days straight. Some days would be weights and others just cardio. Creating the habit of just going into the gym was my focus. Weeks turned into months and years, with more and more results weekly! I have successfully created healthy habits, gained muscle/ lost fat all over, and I will be entering my first body building competition 2020. Nutrition got better, eating more protein and veggies, less overly processed and chemical foods. Remember, food is 80% of the battle.

What makes me different from the other personal trainers?
I believe in no excuses! You want something bad enough you will make it happen. It will be hard and challenging but the reward and benefits at the end will be worth it.
My workouts are high intensity. They combine strength, endurance, and hypertrophy.
When you combine all the components of my program you will create a sustainable, healthy and very addictive lifestyle to becoming the best version of you!
I am straight forward and to the point! I am here to make you successful and you cannot become successful by only giving me half the info or giving me excuses. Results take time, please do not expect to lose 20 pounds in a week... that is not realistic! Progress takes time. Some days you will feel discouraged about your results, expecting them to come quicker. Your results will happen but only with a consistent lifestyle which we will build together! Focus on the positives... better sleeps, more energy, not being dependant on processed foods, lose the inches where you want them, gain the inches where you want them... but again… TRUST THE PROCESS! I am not here to make you gain unwanted weight or screw you over. I want you to be successful and I want to walk beside you as you do this.

Expectations From Your Coach & Your Program
If you’re already a gym goer that is bored with their workouts and need that extra push, I am the trainer for you! I specialize in creating HIIT workouts that anyone can do at any gym, where you push your body to the max. This helps with boosting your metabolism where you can burn calories for hours afterwards, scientific name called EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption). Whether you need to get over a plateau, do not have time to create a workout program that pushes you, struggle to eat healthy, or lose that those last 10 lbs… I got you!
I focus on all healthy lifestyle habits that will help you become successful with your goals; exercising, nutrition, recovery, sleeping, etc. I am here to keep you accountable, motivated, and help you develop & reach your short/long term fitness goals! As far as nutrition goes… I keep it quite simple: eat when it works for your schedule and no eating 3 hours before you go to sleep. Food is 80% of the battle. Why would You fuel yourself with unhealthy food that will hinder your results as opposed to healthy foods that will make you stronger and aid in muscle growth & fat loss?
It can take up to 4 weeks for that metabolism to change... don’t give up after a week…TRUST THE PROCESS… Rome was not built in a day but was worked on everyday! We are all human and we give in to temptation sometimes… just because you had a cookie doesn’t mean your whole day is ruined… move on and stay on track, don’t throw your hands up and give up!
