60-day Foot & Ankle program - If you want to thrive and not survive your hike, then this program is designed for you! Overuse injuries are typically the number one reason hikers have to abandon a long-distance hike. These overuse injuries occur from doing too much too soon and the body can't adapt quickly enough. Soft tissue injuries arise and can quickly turn into more serious issues that push you off the trail. The Foot & Ankle Program is designed to be done alongside your current hiking program - it isn't a full body training program. Add the workouts into your current routine to optimize your training before your start date. This program will help reduce injury risk for overuse injuries such as: -Ankle Sprains -Foot Pain, including Plantar Fasciitis -Calf Pain -Shin Splints -Other lower body overuse injuries common for hikers This program also includes the Self Care Program For Hikers as a bonus. This program offers over 2.5 hours of instructional video showing you how to use the tools you have on hand to tackle common zings and pings that arise with hiking. You don't have to hike in pain and knowing how to manage the aches that you encounter will improve your confidence and enjoyment while on your adventure.
