My name is Ian Lowery. I am a Fitness Coach based in San Marcos, CA.
I am a firm believer that fitness doesn’t need to be complicated to be successful, should be accessible to everyone, and most importantly should be fun.
No matter where you are on your fitness journey, everyone should have access to exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
My mission is to help my clients be the healthiest, happiest version of themselves.
By using HIIT style workouts, every session is challenging but fun with a mix of resistance, cardio, balance and flexibility training to keep your muscles guessing, spiking the metabolism and keep you coming back for more.
I became a personal trainer by accident. I struggled with my own weight in my early 20s. I tried to figure out on my own how to lose the weight through lots of trial and error. I went to college to be a PE teacher and football coach. After a few semesters, I found I loved my fitness and nutrition classes the most. I started applying what I was learning to myself and was able to lose 45 lbs by the time I graduated. I made a shift in my education and got my degree in Exercise Science.
I am now on a mission to help others who find themselves in a similar situation I was in by teaching them the tools to get the most effective and sustainable results. It doesn’t have to be complicated to get the results you want. I love watching my clients reach goals and do things they never thought they could. My favorite thing to see as a trainer is that little smile of accomplishment clients get when they lift a weight or do an exercise they couldn’t do a week or a month before. That’s why I love my job. I love helping people be the best version of themselves.
Because of my own experiences with my own weight loss I take it as my responsibility to help others reach and exceed their goals without having to struggle like I did. We will take the fitness serious but will try not to take ourselves too seriously. If the fitness isn’t fun, then we are less likely to stick with it.
