Want to try a sample Nutrition Coaching session? This is the perfect way to do it. This session will follow on from your initial free consultation. Your coach will take the time to listen to your needs, seek to understand your personal situation in order to provide guidance, advice, support and direction for your nutrition goals.
The Email Based plan is a great choice for those looking for some basic direction and guidance with their workouts. After an initial consultation, your trainer will conduct an in-person or online set of assessments, to determine the direction of your program. Once this has been conducted, your personal preferences and fitness goals will be combined with the results of your physiological assessments to build a monthly exercise program tailored to your needs. Once you start on the program, your trainer will be able to see your progress and may offer suggestions throughout the month. At the end of your four week program, you will receive a new training program, and your trainer will contact you via email to to review your progress. Via email, you can collaborate with your trainer on your next month's plan. You will also have full access to the app and it's features, including meal tracking, goal and habit setting and have the ability to change your workout by accessing the app's library of exercises. There is a $50 joining fee which includes a 60 minute session covering assessments. You will need to purchase this session separately. Your trainer will send you the link or you can book through the website. The assessments include but are not limited to: Postural Assessment: I observe your natural standing position and make observations about any postural deviations. Dynamic Postural Assessment: I will observe your basic movement patterns in a squat and single leg squat (if appropriate). I will also observe the mobility of you ankle, knee, hip and shoulder joints to identify any potential muscle imbalances. Flexibility Assessment: I will observe the flexibility of major muscle groups through simple stretches to determine areas of muscle weakness or tightness that may need to be addressed through training. All results will be fully discussed with you and provide a helpful insight into why your routine going forward. Please wear comfortable clothes, suitable for working out in. Bring a towel and a water bottle. The same applies if your session is being conducted online. Payment This is an ongoing plan. Your card will be charged per month until you choose to cancel. The single personal training session will comprise of of a single workout based on the previous initial consultation. The traditional progression of personal training usually begins with a range of physiological assessments to determine the best path forward. However, in a stand alone session, your workout will be designed based on your previous consultation. You may choose to go forward with the physiological assessments in your stand alone session, and it's worth noting that you may choose to decline any assessment you feel uncomfortable doing.
