My name is Kevin Narayan and I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for the last 10 years and on my own personal fitness journey for the last 15 years!
I went from humble beginnings working in a private gym as a maintenance worker, to becoming a personal trainer and bootcamp leader and now finally working in private healthcare as a Kinesiologist which is what I have been doing for the last 3 years since receiving my B.Sc.Kin, where I specialized in active health and rehabilitation.
Weightlifting has always been a strong passion of mine ever since I was 13. At first I just wanted big muscles to help me get girls, not knowing that the only people whose attention I’d catch were other gym bro’s asking me how often I’d lift and what my macros looked like… I was also programming for myself and thought progressive overload meant piling on another exercise for 3-4 sets of 10 to my already ridiculous high-volume routine whenever I saw someone like Jeff Cavalier or CT Fletcher come out with a new post.
By 19 I had overtrained my body to a point where I couldn’t perform many exercises without extreme pain in my shoulders, wrists or back. That’s when I got a coach who helped me overcome my injuries and guided me on how to program more effectively.
Fast forward to today where I understand what a vital role a well-rounded fitness program plays in maintaining your health, keeping you injury free and allowing you to do the things you love for as long as possible…plus who doesn’t want to feel happy in their own skin! That’s why I’ve decided to take my expertise online where I can reach more people who are recovering from injuries and haven’t found any relief, while giving them the opportunity to get the bodies they’ve always dreamed of.
My mission is to help adults recover from chronic/acute pain by teaching them how to be in control of their symptoms, regain function and perform at their best, all while getting in the best shape of their lives.
