The fitness industry is full of companies offering quick fixes for people to get the body they desire. We are forever hearing about the latest gimmick, gadget, miracle workout routine or fad diet as people search for the ‘secret’ to getting that dream body. As hard as it is to believe, some of these organisations are more interested in taking your money than they are in helping you to reach your goals.
Here at KIS-Fitness I have learned the hard way that there is no secret. Spending large periods of time training in tents in the deserts of Afghanistan and Iraq, often with minimum equipment and resources taught me the importance of sticking with the basics, I believe that simplicity is key. The use of structured training, a healthy balanced diet and the correct amount of rest and recovery are all key ingredients in order to achieve your goals. Sadly, there are no short cuts.
I have learned that in order to get exceptional results, you have to make some sacrifices. Fitness is more than just a hobby, it's a lifestyle. I am an advocate of this and will always try to inspire my clients through leading by example. Train Smart, Eat Clean...Keep It Simple!
