Kim, head trainer and founder of Kenaz, grew up playing multiple sports but focused in on ice hockey, with a highlight of winning the NWJHL Championship following his high school graduation. Kim still plays hockey in a mens league, as well as, spends his weekends golfing and hiking.
Kim graduated from the University of Fraser Valley with his Kinesiology Degree in April of 2012. Kim has spent a large part of his career working with sport injuries, chronic pain, ICBC car accidents and many other disorders/diseases. He has also worked with many different athletes at varying levels of sport including, junior football players, hockey players, provincial level ski racers, national level pole-vaulters, water polo players, and cyclists competing for worlds.
Kim focuses on a whole body approach, finding all the joint limitations and muscle imbalances to create a more functional and well-balanced body in order to decrease pain and increase movement efficiency, power and performance. Whether you come in as a beginner or an elite athlete, Kim will be able to adapt to your body’s needs, finding the areas that will make the biggest difference to your goals. Kim enjoys shaping resilient young athletes, helping them to prevent injury and optimize performance. He also enjoys rehabilitating people with very complicated injuries who have tried everything!
