Welcome Gents! This is our training program, designed to suit your current experience level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Each program will progressively challenge you while building strength and endurance. This program not only builds fitness but also serves as 'pre-hab' to minimise injuries throughout the season. It includes key elements for comprehensive development: Squats/Split Squats: Build lower body strength and improve balance. Deadlifts: Strengthen your back, hamstrings, and glutes for better posture and everyday lifting. Push Movements: Develop your chest, shoulders, and arms with exercises like push-ups or dumbbell presses. Pull Movements: Enhance back strength and posture through exercises like lat pulldowns or rows. Core Work: Strengthen your core with exercises like planks to improve stability and reduce injury risk. Endurance and Speed Training: Alongside strength training, we’ve included a 2-day-per-week running program to enhance both endurance and speed. It's crucial to choose the appropriate level based on your current running ability and the distances you're comfortable with.
