About Sofija

Growing up as a high-level basketball player, I have developed an unbreakable bond towards physical fitness and overall well-being. Through varsity sports and personal life experiences, I became familiar with mental health's impact on physicality albeit positive or negative. I quickly discovered that a symbiotic relationship between the two exist - with one taking care of the other, or ideally working at a high equilibrium with one another. I strive to help individuals learn to navigate these pillars with autonomy and confidence.

My ultimate dharma in this earthly realm is to help people feel the most connected to themselves - albeit physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. That is why I chose to complete a Physical Education degree in the Concurrent Education program at Brock University. Currently in my final year of post-grad at Brock's Burlington Teacher's College Campus, I am well-versed in the fields of anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and have many practicum-based experiences teaching and training diverse individuals. I seek opportunities to learn every day and hope that my support as a personal trainer can ignite a passion of your own.
