Growing up in Portland, Oregon I was introduced to sports and body mechanics at the young age of 4. My father played of the Portland Timbers (was NSL and now an MLS team) from 1988-1990. He sought to share his craft with his sons. Along with my three brothers I was subject to hard work and lots of conditioning drills all through my high school days. My senior year of high school, I left soccer to pursue a new found sport called Parkour. The next 4 years, I proceed to train parkour, enjoying every minute of figuring how to move and contort my body to overcome some really daunting obstacles, and finding my love for coaching. During those 4 years, I decided to major in health studies where I concentrated on exercise physiology. I discovered I LOVE helping other figure out how to move and find their way through health and fitness. It felt like I was born to coach and so I continued to sharpen my craft first becoming an athletic trainer's assistant and ultimately, a Personal Trainer.
I am a lifetime certified trainer who believes in a holistic approach to health and fitness. As former athletic trainers assistant and competitive soccer player my training includes functional conditioning, strength training, and mindfulness. Those that train with me know that every time we talk I am in the dirt with them.
