The Move Better program is my 12 week training plan designed to improve your movement vocabulary, improve form, and elevate confidence in exercise. What does this mean? Learning how to perform essential movements like hinging, squatting, planking, and more. With 3 follow-along sessions a week, you will reduce inflammation, reduce the feeling of stiff, achy joints, and add more movement to your weekly routine. This program is great for people who want to learn how to execute different exercises with proper and safe form, progress their skills, and feel more confident in the gym. Although this is a movement program, you will still be building bodyweight strength & baseline aerobic fitness, as my classes include movement circuits. You will not need any equipment, as we work with our bodyweight to build form, proprioceptive ability (how you sense where your body is), and body awareness. Trust me, bodyweight is enough! For all of you working from home these days, this is a great option. There are 3 phases to this program. The first will introduce you to the moves & technique, the second will progress the intensity, and for the 3rd phase we will play with more advanced sequences and introduce you to Dynamic Movement, the next level in this progression. This program is great for active people who need help with their recovery & stretching. Each class has a different focus and are programmed to help you get better over time. You should always listen to your trusted medical team regarding movement you should or should not do, depending on any issues you are facing. Modify when needed and do not move into pain. You will also get 1 x 30 minute coaching session with Kate to talk through questions, guidelines, and modifications, along with real time messaging through the app throughout the program. You can reschedule your classes, but be sure to complete them in the programmed order - as they are set in a specific progression to develop your mobility. This program is for anyone just starting to exercise (or return to exercise after time off). It is recommended to have a set of free weights, but household items like canned goods or water bottles also work, as well as elastic bands (long and small circle). There are 3 phases to this program.
