Tolbert Nutrition and Training specializes in health and habit coaching. My unique one-on-one full service health coaching takes a deep dive into daily habits and routines. Together, we will identify and prioritize any patterns that are keeping you from reaching your goals, and develop a specific plan to address them. We will meet weekly in person or virtually to review the previous week as well as put a plan together for the upcoming week. In addition to weekly check-ins, I am available every day for any questions or issues that arise. I can be reached through my custom app, text message, or email. In addition to being a certified NCI nutrition coach, I am also a CPPS (Certified Physical Preparation Specialist) personal trainer, my program includes customized workout programs that will benefit your overall health and lead you to your goals using the equipment you have available to you. New to strength training? No problem! We can utilize video demonstrations to assure you are safely performing movements before adding weight, minimizing risk of injury. I am also available for in-person training for an additional charge. Already leading a healthy lifestyle, but need some help with your training programing? I also offer a "programming only" subscription that will give you access to my custom app where you will receive training programs with video demos, built in set and rep calculations and specified rest periods. While I am open to working with all clients who want to improve their overall health, I take pride in specializing in my work with first responders and frontline shift workers. Being a police officer for the past 14+ years, I understand how long hours, stress and trauma affect health and well being. My philosophy focuses on much more than "dieting" and "working out." We will identify, triage, and address the biggest "red flags" first, and focus on creating one or two new habits at a time. By slowly tweaking habits, the likelihood of making those new behaviors permanent increases. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you with the knowledge to apply these habits and behaviors into your everyday routine. Once you are able to understand and apply your new health habits, you will then be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle without the assistance of a health coach!
