About Nathan

Hi everyone, my name is Nate Tietz. I’m the founder and head trainer of New Beginnings Health & Fitness.

My mission is simple: help people build a lifestyle that actually produces long-term results. Not crash diets, not detoxes, and definitely not gimmicks.

Like many people I work with today, I’ve been through the struggle myself. Between 2010 and 2016 I gained over 60 pounds and completely lost control of my health. Late nights, fast food, stress, and convenience slowly caught up with me. I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and feel stuck.

That experience is exactly why I coach the way I do today.

Over the years I’ve learned that real fat loss and real health come down to a few fundamentals that most of the fitness industry ignores:

• Creating a sustainable calorie deficit
• Eating enough protein and nutrient-dense foods
• Strength training to build and maintain muscle
• Building habits you can actually stick to long term

No extremes. No starvation diets. No “quick fixes.”

My coaching focuses on helping you build a system that fits your life so you can lose weight, get stronger, and keep the results.

Most of the people I work with are busy adults who feel like they’ve tried everything already. My goal is to simplify the process, give you structure, and help you stay consistent so progress becomes inevitable.
