About Kate

Welcome to the Kickass Life Project where our motto is get sassy, get sexy, get strong.... cause life is messy, fitness is hard, and cupcakes taste better than kale.

Your trainer, Kate, offers online programs, workshops, plus group and individual journeys designed for women wanting to incorporate exercise as part of their mental health plan without feeling traumatized by the traditional tactics of the fitness and diet industry. Having a foot in both the fitness and the mental health world, gives Kate an opportunity to empower women through the blending of these two powerful healing channels.

Trauma Informed Fitness is an embodied, somatic approach to mental and physical health and healing. Combining this with trauma informed counselling, is something Kate is passionate about exploring, learning, and sharing with others.

Kickass Life Project is rooted in HAES, intuitive eating and non-diet approaches to nutrition, fitness based on a female body (yes, that changes things), and trauma informed fitness (yes, that's a thing)
