About Kerstin

Hi everyone!! I am so excited to introduce myself - my name is Kerstin Youngs!! I am 28 years old and originally from Northern New York. I am married to my amazing husband, Casey, and we have been together for 9 years! We went to the same high school but didn’t get together until a few years after we graduated. We spent the first 5 years of our relationship long distance because he is in the United States Coast Guard and I was finishing school in New York. His job has led us to Alaska, where we have spent the last 4 years.

We also have the cutest golden retriever, Kinley, who is our world. Many times we live by the motto “if Kinley can’t do it, then we don’t do it.” I know it may seem crazy, but she brings us so much joy.

I have spent the last 4 years as an elementary school teacher but found that I was not happy in this profession. So just over a year ago, I decided to go back to school to pursue a bachelors degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning!! This has been the biggest passion of mine since playing soccer, through my beginning days as a personal trainer in college.

I love all things nutrition, fitness, recovery, hiking, camping, travel, etc 🤪

little fun fact about me is that while I have always loved fitness, I lost my way after moving to Alaska, and the past 2 years I have focused on my health, fitness, and building the self confidence I have never had in myself. I am so grateful to be a part of the Réforme Athleta team and start helping so many women believe in themselves and build a sustainable active lifestyle!! 🫶🏼
