Hey guys and welcome to my profile! My name's Christena :)
My approach to training is simple- to get you moving and out of your comfort zone while limiting injuries through form and technique of course!! Life is about balance and your work inside and outside of the gym (or home-gym these days)play a crucial role in how it effects you overall. I'm dedicated to providing you with the tools to reach your health and fitness goals. If there's one thing I've learned from my clients including basketball players, senior water polo players, marathon runners, fitness competitors, weekend warriors, and weightloss clients--- is that we are all unique and our bodies require different stimuli and nutrition depending on a wide range of parameters.
Nearly 17 years ago, fresh out of college, I found myself at 32% body fat (about 18lbs overweight), with a sedentary job, and horrendous eating patterns. I decided it was time for a lifestyle change. "My way" was not working, plus I wanted to look and feel better. So I pushed my pride aside, met with a personal trainer and I haven't looked back since! She changed my outlook on working out, weights, nutrition, which gave me back the self-confidence and motivation to achieve my fitness goals- not to mention a 20 lb weight loss!
Now fast forward nearly 18 years later, 3x Nationally qualified, 7 figure competitions and 2 bikini competitions later- I've made fitness my career and continued passion! I want to help YOU reach your goals because I truly believe in the quality of your life and it should be fun in the process! :)
