This is where they struggle to generate tension in the connective tissue between the rectus muscles when performing a pelvic floor contraction. Some other symptoms of diastasis may include stress urinary incontinence, or low back and/or hip pain. If you have both a prolapse and diastasis, it is recommended following the prolapse program as it has considerations for diastasis recti as well. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a time sensitive program. For changes to be made, it is important to commit to the 6 weeks that include 10 sessions of movement and exercise. This initial session includes the following: • A 90-minute video-based call to review your needs, assess movement patterns, and determine the first set up exercises specific to your needs and goals. • Access to the Training App and to Krista through Instant Messaging for 3 weeks. • Any minor changes to the program within the 3-weeks can be made based on questions following the video appointment. It is recommended that a 30-minute follow up video call is booked 2 to 3 weeks after this initial assessment to continue progressing towards your goals.
