I’m Seán! I'm a coach, marathon runner, and co-host of the Any Given Runday podcast. I’ve been working in the fitness industry for close to two decades now, helping people of all fitness levels build strength, confidence, and consistency through training that actually fits real life.
My coaching journey started after studying fitness and health in Sallynoggin, qualifying in 2009 as a Personal Trainer. From there, it’s taken me from hotel gyms to freelancing, and now to working alongside some of Ireland’s top coaches at ABC Gym, mainly from our Clane branch.
I hold a Degree in Strength & Conditioning from Setanta College, as well as certifications from Joe DeFranco’s CPPS and KG Elite Performance.
Since 2013, I’ve also been coaching at CSF Women’s Fitness in Castleknock, where we have created a friendly, supportive space for women to train hard, move well, and feel strong.
Outside the gym, running is a huge part of my life. I’ve completed multiple marathons, ultramarathons and even 24 hour events. Although I'm still a gym junkie at heart, I just enjoy training. I share my experiences, lessons, and the craic on The Any Given Runday Podcast alongside Eric Lawless and with some of the top people in the running community in Ireland.
When I’m not coaching or running, you’ll usually find me doing some DIY, minding a few chickens and cats on a farm in Kildare, or shouting at the TV when the San Francisco 49ers are playing.
